Alive In Joburg

This short directed by Neil Blomkamp is now famous for inspiring the feature length film District 9. I personally think it is a good short because the idea is unique and it captures the audience's attention immediately, which is key when watching shorts. It also contains some interesting point of view shots which draw you into the film. However, some would argue the idea is so large it is better for a feature length film and perhaps District 9 proves this.
