Mixtape (Grand Prize Winner)

This is a really well made tightly composed little short. I can see why it won at this years Virgin Media Shorts competition. The Director has taken a simple idea and shown it really well. I particularly like the close up shot of the young girl lying on her bed and the close up of the young boy looking into the camera. It really captures the feeling that they both have inside of them and the music compliments it beautifully. I also think the two young actors are really good for their age.
